You May be Eligible if You: Receive Certain Benefits(Like Universal Credit, Pension Credit, or Child Tax Credits , Income Support Allowance), Have a Household Income Below 31,000 Own Your Home or Rent From a Private Landlord, and Your Home Has an EPC Rating Of D-G. What Types of Insulation Are Available?
Under the ECO4 scheme, we offer loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, and solid wall insulation (both internal and external). Our surveyors will assess your home and recommend the most suitable solution for your property.
How long does the installation take?
Most installations are completed within 1-2 days, depending on the size of your property and the type of insulation being installed. Loft insulation typically takes 4-6 hours, while wall insulation may take 1-2 days. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your daily routine.
Do I need to move out during installation?
No, you don’t need to move out. Our installers work quickly and cleanly, and you can remain in your home throughout the process. We’ll take care to minimize any disruption and clean up thoroughly afterwards.
How much money will I save on energy bills?
Savings vary depending on your property type and the insulation installed. On average, loft insulation can save up to £250 per year, cavity wall insulation up to £160 per year, and solid wall insulation up to £400 per year. You’ll also enjoy a warmer, more comfortable home.
Is there a warranty on the work?
Yes! All our installations come with a warranty of up to 25 years, giving you peace of mind that the work is covered. We also provide aftercare support should you have any questions or concerns.
Can I get insulation if I'm a tenant?
Yes, if you rent from a private landlord and meet the other eligibility criteria, you may still qualify. You’ll need your landlord’s permission for the work to be carried out. Social housing tenants should contact their housing association directly.
What is an EPC rating?
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating shows how energy efficient your property is on a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). Properties with ratings of D-G typically qualify for ECO4 funding. If you don’t have a recent EPC, we can help arrange one.
